Rules

Authors retain ownership of the copyright for all materials, but materials marked “Open Access” may be downloaded, reused, reprinted, modified, distributed, and/or copied, so long as the original source is cited. No permission is required.

For PharmedOut slideshows and factsheets, appropriate attribution can be provided by simply citing PharmedOut.org, Georgetown University Medical Center. For other Open Access materials, please cite the authors of those materials.

Our permissions policy is based on the Creative Commons Attribution License (summary.)

Requests

Rather than sending our materials to others, please direct people who want to view or use our materials to our website, so that we can keep track of how many times our materials are downloaded.

Although you’re not required to let us know, if you give a presentation using our slides, we would appreciate knowing where, when, and to whom. Feel free to share comments with us as well.

Pre and post-test evaluations are available for our slideshow; just contact us. If you use these with our presentation, please send us copies, as we are collating these data.

We may be able to provide PharmedOut pencils or post-it notes to distribute at presentations using our materials. Contact us about availability.
